One day Ginny and I went into a pet store to buy cat food, cat litter and dog food for Ginny and all the rescued cats. As we were stepping into the store, the sales staffs were delighted to show us a new animal room with rabbits, rats, white mice, hamsters and guinea pigs on display. As Ginny and I entered the animal room, Ginny was very fascinated at all the little creatures. Since Ginny had always been my trusted and loyal companion, I left her in the room to sniff around.
After I finished loading all the required cat food and litter into the shopping cart, I walked toward the cash register to pay for them. As I was paying at the register, a woman screamed from the back of the store, “Rats, Mice, Help!!!” The cashier rushed to investigate and I followed. To all our surprise, white mice, rats, hamsters and guinea pigs were running around all over the store. They were running so fast that no one was able to restrain them. Many of them headed toward the automatic door which opened automatically when the electric eye was triggered. Many rats and white mice escaped from the store.
Ginny was still in the room, trying to open many more cages and free even the crickets. I quickly snatched a leash and put in on Ginny and led her out of the store. The staffs at the store were furious at Ginny and me. The rats and white mice were later to be fed to the snakes in other cages. We were later told we would no longer be welcomed there anymore.
Afterwards, Ginny and I headed home. On the ride back, I kissed Ginny many times and praised her for saving all the rats and white mice. Ginny had always devoted strongly toward rescuing and freeing animals and I supported her 100%. I loved her very much and I admired her strong sense of justice.
